Dinner at home on my 29th

We went home for dinner on my birthday. And Jiejie prepared all these to celebrate!

Homecooked Korean dinner

Jiejie is the one to be credited for our awesome Korean dinners. She’s the one who dares to cook up a storm. I prefer things to be easily cleaned up and simple. So thanks to her, I get to enjoy awesome food at home because mommy doesn’t cook.

  • Rangemate (awesome microwave cookware, with fluffy rice inside)
  • Lettuce (for wrapping the meats)
  • Samjang 쌈장
  • Spinach
  • Pork belly
  • Prawn
  • Beansprout
  • Beef

Doenjang soup ingredients

  • Doenjang and Gochujang paste
  • Chilli powder
  • Zucchini
  • Onions
  • Green Chilli
  • Prawns
  • Clams
  • Kelp

Instant noodles

I have always been a fan of processed food. My body hasn’t been responding too well in recent years though. As a kid, I used to eat them all the time and not feel anything. Now, it’s not the case anymore. Maybe it’s a good thing? A natural indicator of what I should not be eating.

Nongshim spicy instant noodles with:

  • Minced chicken (probably wasn’t a great choice. If I’m going processed, processed all the way would have made the dish more coherent)
  • CP wantons
  • Cheese tofu
  • Spring onions
  • Luncheon meat
